Terms of Service

- PickSide lets you pick one side on published questions and view aggregated results. Results reflect participants’ choices, not facts or recommendations.
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK unless your parent or guardian agrees) to create an account or buy a membership.
- Accounts: you can vote without an account. You can sign in with a one-time email link or with Google; keep access to your email or Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
- Do not automate voting, create accounts in bulk, or attempt to manipulate results. We may rate-limit, verify, or exclude abnormal votes and record the reason.
- Prohibited content: sexual content, intimate imagery, non-consensual intimate imagery (including AI-generated imagery), harassment, hate speech and illegal content are not allowed in proposed questions, references, nicknames or reports. PickSide does not accept image uploads and does not generate images.
- Membership is a paid subscription sold by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as merchant of record. Price, currency, period and renewal are shown before you pay; you can cancel renewal at any time in the customer portal. Membership does not buy votes or influence results.
- Cancellation and refunds: you can cancel renewal at any time, and your membership stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Billing periods that have started are not refunded pro rata, except where required by law. If a payment is fully refunded or reversed through a chargeback, the membership for that period ends immediately; partial refunds do not change it.
- Proposed questions are reviewed by humans. Approval is not guaranteed. Questions may be closed, archived or removed under these rules.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using PickSide at any time.
- The service is provided as is. These terms may be updated; material changes will be announced on the site.
